Congratulations to 2 of our graduate students on being newly hired for faculty positions! Natalia Pires de Vasconcelos has accepted a job as a full-time lecturer-associated faculty in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University of Miami beginning this fall! And after defending her dissertation, she will move into a tenure track position. Keely Fox has accepted a tenure-track job as an Assistant Professor of Human Services and Sociology at Wingate University. Wingate is a private teaching-focused university with about 3,600 students located in Wingate, NC, on the southeastern edge of the Charlotte metro area. We are proud of these students' accomplishments and look forward to watching their new journeys.
